It might be hard to believe, but the school year has begun already. We started the day on Wednesday with a WELCOME sign and balloons to start of this exciting year. The building looks great with a fresh coat of paint. The halls and lobby are very cheery and inviting. All of the kids looked great in their crisp uniforms, armed and ready for what we know will be a fun year of learning and growth. We wish everyone a WONDERFUL year!

Passover Food Drive

We are collecting NON-PERISHABLE KOSHER food items to benefit the B’Nai Raphael Food Pantry. All items should be dropped off at the school office on the 4th floor. Items may be FOR PASSOVER or CHOMETZ! Thanks!

Another Snow Day!!

Well… Mayor Bloomberg has decided to CLOSE the Public Schools again today…. That means we get another Snow Day today! Everyone should stay home, stay warm, and have fun!! Have a wonderful Shabbat and a very Happy Purim! Chag Samaech!

We will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 10th. The DOE has closed all NYC Public Schools due to the pending Snow Storm! Have fun, stay warm and build GREAT snowmen! You can even send some pics to Stacey (stacey@yeshivaofmanhattanbeach.org) and they can be posted on our website.

Chanukah Performance and Concert

It is hard to believe, but Chanukah is ALMOST here. To celebrate, everyone is invited to our Annual Chanukah Performance. Our children have been working hard, practicing their songs to entertain us. New this year, will be a concert performance by Six13 Acapella. Also, there will be an Art Auction and a small Boutique. A small Brunch will follow the performances. All the details will be sent home in a flyer. Can’t wait to see everyone there!

Thanksgiving Feast

Once again, our Annual Thanksgiving Feast was a huge success. The children did a wonderful job performing on stage and the lunch was enjoyed by all. We want to thank all the parents….. and grandparents….. who came to help that day!!!
